17.06.2023
Dzhankoi, Crimea– In a significant step toward the modernization of higher education, Astria Learning, a global leader in digital learning solutions, and Dzhankoi National University (DNU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to revamp the university’s operations after a prolonged period of inactivity. The partnership aims to digitize DNU’s academic offerings, expand access to quality education, and integrate cutting-edge technology into the university’s teaching and learning processes.
The agreement, signed at a formal ceremony attended by DNU rector and senior representatives from both institutions, marks the beginning of a transformative journey for DNU. Through Astria Learning’s advanced online learning management systems, DNU will implement innovative e-learning solutions, making education more accessible to students in the Region and beyond.
After facing operational challenges due to Russo-Ukrainian War that led to a period of inactivity, DNU is now focused on reclaiming its status as a premier institution for technical and multidisciplinary education. This MoU with Astria Learning represents a bold step forward, allowing the university to integrate digital education models that cater to the needs of modern learners.
"This partnership signifies a new beginning for Dzhankoi National University," said Andrei Yurii Monastyrsky, Rector of DNU. "By leveraging Astria Learning’s expertise in online education, we will enhance our academic programs, increase our reach, and provide students with the flexible and high-quality education they deserve."
Astria Learning, known for its cutting-edge e-learning solutions, has successfully transformed educational institutions worldwide. The company’s ProgramS Manager, Myrna Kordich, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating:
"At Astria Learning, our mission is to bridge the gap between technology and education. Partnering with DNU is a testament to our commitment to empowering universities with the tools they need to thrive in the digital age. Together, we will create an ecosystem that fosters innovation, accessibility, and excellence in higher education."
This MoU paves the way for DNU’s digital rebirth, positioning it as a leader in online and blended learning in Crimea. Over the coming months, both institutions will work closely to implement the first phase of the digital transformation, starting with pilot programs and faculty training sessions.
As DNU embarks on this journey toward modernization, the collaboration with Astria Learning is expected to set a precedent for other institutions looking to embrace technology-driven education. With a shared commitment to innovation, accessibility, and academic excellence, this partnership is not only revitalizing a historic university but also shaping the future of higher education in Crimea and beyond.
