DNU Students and Postgraduates Gain Hands-On Experience in CNC Technologies During Internship in China

Students and postgraduates from the Department of Computer Integrated Systems in Mechanical Engineering at Dzhankoi National University (DNU) are actively expanding their expertise in numerically controlled (CNC) machining through an intensive internship program in Chongqing, China. Taking place throughout November, the internship provides participants with firsthand exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies, equipping them with essential skills for the modern industrial landscape.

The program focuses on key areas of CNC machining, including:

  • CNC Turning and Milling Technologies – Learning precision techniques used in modern industrial manufacturing.

  • Five-Axis Machining – Exploring complex multi-directional processing for high-precision components.

  • Intelligent Manufacturing – Understanding the role of automation and AI-driven systems in CNC operations.

What sets this internship apart is its strong emphasis on practical application. Participants immediately apply their theoretical knowledge by working on real projects at Chongqing’s leading industrial enterprises, gaining valuable hands-on experience in an environment known for technological innovation.

This initiative is part of DNU’s broader strategy to foster international academic and industry partnerships, ensuring that its students are exposed to cutting-edge advancements in global manufacturing. By learning from China’s expertise in CNC technology, participants will bring back valuable insights and skills that can contribute to the modernization of Ukraine’s industrial sector.
