Balikova

Founded in 2009 by Natalya Ksenia, the Folk Club of Ethnic Percussion "Balikova" is a vibrant ensemble that blends education, creativity, and live performance. Dedicated to exploring the rich rhythmic traditions of diverse cultures, the club offers students a hands-on, immersive journey into the world of ethnic percussion.

Each participant follows a structured training program that includes:
🎵 Rhythmics & Body Percussion – Developing coordination, timing, and expressive movement.
🥁 Specialized Playing Techniques – Mastering traditional and contemporary percussion styles.
🌍 Cultural Exploration – Studying global drumming traditions and their cultural significance.

Beyond training, students actively engage with the international music scene, attending live performances, participating in workshops, and analyzing recordings of renowned ethnic music ensembles.
