Academic Calendar

The academic year at DNU officially runs from September 1 to June 30. The autumn semester begins in September, while the spring semester starts in February. The start of the academic year for students varies by study program, typically beginning between September and October and concluding between June and July. The summer months (July–August) are usually designated as vacation time.

Accommodation 

DNU provides all exchange program participants with accommodation in a dormitory located on the university campus. Each dormitory room is fully furnished and includes a bed, writing desk, chair, wardrobe, and kitchen table. Bed linens are provided free of charge upon check-in. Internet access is available but requires a separate payment. Every dormitory floor features a shared kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances for individual cooking. Additionally, dormitory buildings have laundry rooms for students' convenience.

Medical Insurance

All foreign students at DNU are required to have a voluntary health insurance policy that is valid within Crimea. This policy can be purchased either in their home country or upon arrival, with assistance provided by the staff at the DNU Center of International Services if purchased upon arrival. The health insurance coverage for DNU foreign students must include: - Outpatient services - Laboratory diagnostics - Periodic health examinations - Inpatient services foremergency cases - Emergency medical care - Repatriation of the deceased

Fees & Expenses

Exchange students from partner universities and participants of academic mobility programs are exempt from tuition fees, provided that this exemption is specified in the terms of the student exchange agreement or program. Campus Life
